I'm sure you noticed some similarities of my ex gang's symbol, my fight gear's logo and my nickname. Well, people always
ask me why. For one, and a serious one, I'm taking all the negativity that has made my life a living hell in the past and
turning it all into a positive future.
That's why I chose the masks as my fight gear's logo. There are two sides to everything. There are ups and downs to life.
What better way to describe it than that image? And anyone who has been through what I have and keep his sanity and
health, is a true solid one...

After my fight with David, I was contacted by Jason Appleton. Jason is the owner
of MMA Big Show in the Kentucky / Ohio area. He was in need of a 185 lb fighter to
fight for a title. It was going to be covered by Inside MMA on HDNet. I couldn't
resist the opportunity. I gladly accepted the fight and the crazy idea of losing over
50 lbs in three months to fight one of their star fighters.
My third fight was for Keith Gordon and his Extreme Fighting International. It was
held in Springfield, MA. I fought at the light heavy weight class.
After my first two fights, I realized I was too heavy for my 5' 11" frame. So I
started to cut weight. This fight was a win for me. Take into consideration, I was
still smoking and training with just my street fighting experience, videos and a
punching bag.
On September 29th 2007, I went into the cage for the MMA Big Show at 182 lbs
and fought as hard as I possibly could. I didn't win. But, I had fun. Especially
watching it on HDNet a few weeks later.
After the last fight, things started
getting crazy. I was getting phone
calls to fight in events I only dreamed
of fighting. I was contacted by Lou
Neglia, promoter of Ring of Combat
and martial arts Hall of Famer. Talk
about an honor. I was asked if I
wanted to take on a 13-3 fighter,
Dante Rivera. He didn't have to pull
my arm. Another televised fight?
I broke my foot warming up in the
dressing room right before they called
me upstairs to fight. Bummer! Hey, I
got a cool ass poster out of it...
